Doris Chromek-Burckhart                                            

Doris works at CERN in the PH department and has taken over the position as Head of the Users Office in June 2011. She represents the interests of CERNs User community in relation to the host states, ACCU, the CERN management and other services at CERN. She is responsible for the staff in the Users Office who welcome CERNs guest scientists every day, a community of more than 10000. 

As CERNs Equal Opportunities Officer in 2009 and 2010 Doris was intensely  involved in reviewing and revising CERN's policy on Diversity and on Harassment Conflict Resolution which contributed to the installation of the Diversity Office, the Ombuds Office and the Harassment Investigation Panel (HIP). She keeps a strong interest in these fields.

Doris is a long term member of the ATLAS collaboration. She has participated in the Development of the Trigger and Data Acquisition system from the start to commissioning and exploitation where she is still active.
